Sedation Dentistry

Nitrous Oxide Sedation

More commonly known as "laughing gas," nitrous oxide sedation is routinely used to make treatment more comfortable. Inhaled through a mask, this type of sedation allows you to breathe in the medication and induces a state of relaxation. Local anesthetic is then administered to eliminate pain in most cases.
